UPDATE 19/03/20 - Support for members during Coronavirus

During this unprecedented time we are all operating in, you may be receiving calls from clients regarding mortgage repayments.

The Society will look to offer flexible support to our members through a number of approaches. We will listen and understand each customer's situation on an individual basis offering support to help manage their finances, some options of which may include:

  • Up to 3 months payment holiday – this means you will not repay any capital or interest on your mortgage balance for this period. At the end of the three months we will agree how you repay the capital and interest accrued during this period.
  • Temporary conversion to ‘interest only’ for those customers on a repayment mortgage – this means you will only pay the interest due on your mortgage during this period. At the end of the period we will agree how you repay the capital element that was due during this period.
  • Emergency access to savings in fixed term or notice accounts without penalty – we will allow withdrawals, up to a maximum limit, if you need emergency access during this period
